Paper clipping coupons were pretty popular long ago and they are still popular today.
We don’t spend a lot of time clipping coupons, but there are times we look through local papers that get delivered to our house for free.
We may use coupons for shampoos, etc.
But guess what?
We don’t buy shampoos every single time we go for shipping. (unless you use shampoo like crazy every day!!!)

Ibotta reviews
Take a look at this quick intro, and read on.
I must have not paid attention much these days, but ibotta is one of those cell phone apps that can help a bit for EVERY shopping that you buy what you need.
For instance, we buy bread, milk and eggs every single time we go for shopping. Many of you probably do the same.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we can save for every day items like these?!? 😉
If you look at the Google App store for ibotta, you see a lot of feedback from users stating they love the discounts on the items they regularly buy.
This is in fact pretty cool because in the past, you would just end up going to local Walmart or somewhere to get reasonably priced items.
ibotta will just change that.
ibotta strength
The strength of ibotta is that most discounts apply to items you buy from many of your local stores.
We buy from local Kroger, Walmart and Sam’s Club most of the time, and cash back is available on all these stores! There are more and more stores becoming available.
In fact, if you have data/GPS available while shopping, most likely ibotta will send you a notification on the phone what you can buy to save.
That’s pretty slick!
Furthermore, you can also refer to other friends and you get some referral bonus. Looks like the person you refer gets $1.00 bonus while you get $4.00 if the person redeems a cash back rebate in two weeks.
How to install
I would appreciate if you use my referral link to install the app! If you are friend of mine on Facebook, you then become part of the “my ibotta team”.
The more you buy at stores to get cash back, the whole team benefits!
The installation is fairly straight forward. Just go to Goole Play and search for it to install. Then, register.
How to earn
This graphic explains pretty much everything.

Basically, here is what you do on our local shopping purposes.
- You unlock items you want to get cash back in the app.
- Go shopping.
- process cash back rebates by uploading receipts. You get the cash back registered pretty quick, usually within a few hours.
- You can then cash out after you obtain $10 total.
The good thing I like about ibotta is that you can unlock items even AFTER you did the shopping. 😃
This is very helpful because some other grocery cash back apps “require” you always have to unlock BEFORE you shop. That’s sometimes not reasonable…

How much to earn
In the past, most of the time, our cash back has been averaging as low as $0.25 to $3.00+.
I will leave the final decision up to you to see if this is worth your time.
I will tell you that I may spend less than 10 min a week unlocking items and submitting the receipt.
I think I can afford to do it. 😜
The amount to earn depends on how much shopping you do, but if you do just a grocery shopping once a week at one store, you could possibly earn around $12.00/month.
That’s just one example. If you end up shopping at more stores, you may be able to earn more!
Take home items
Try it one time after you shop this week, and see if you like it.
If you don’t, oh, well, at least you tried!
Unless you try, you never know what you get. It’s important you try and find the ones that work for you.
In the end, you may just realize this ibotta team function can be pretty powerful if many of them join the force to do exactly the same thing they used to do – just regular grocery shopping!
Convinced?
